AbideCR 2025

Posted on February 2, 2026

Does anyone else love spring cleaning?

Maybe I’m weird, but I love it. There’s something really satisfying about giving a space a thorough once-over: blow off the dust, purge the clutter, and open up the windows to let the light and fresh air in.

Most of us probably tidy up our homes a little each day. Put the dirty dishes in the sink, hang up your bathroom towels, make your bed. And most of us probably have bigger chores that happen more like weekly–do the laundry, vacuum the floor, water the plants.

I’ve heard housecleaning used as a metaphor for our spiritual lives.

The daily chores are like our prayers and our quiet time with God. A regular, brief touch point of goodness with our Maker. And then we devote a longer chunk of time to corporate worship at church once a week. More depth, more goodness. A much-needed refresh.

But have you ever considered carving out time for a spiritual spring-cleaning? For an even greater time of investment with the Lord and his people? To blow off the dust, purge the clutter, and open up the windows to let the light and fresh air into your soul?

That’s the heart behind the AbideCR conference. Friday night and Saturday. Time for worship. Time for teaching. Time for food and fellowship. Time to rest. Time to reflect.

A really satisfying time to give your spirit a thorough once-over. Do you need that? I know I do.

I would love to see every believer at New Cov refreshed and renewed like that. I’d love to see the house packed for AbideCR! So this is your invitation. Tickets are available at a variety of price points. I hope you’ll join me there February 13-14, 2026.

“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:4-5
